This project
consits of a virtual representation of Paris and 80
of its neighborhoods in 3D. It was designed as a companion
to the book 'Paris en 80 Quartiers.' Each neighborhood
consisted of a map, historical resume and data of each
place, and a voice over interviews of the communities.
The project
consisted of a regroupment of old maps, new maps and
a birds eye view of paris. A virtual touristic journey
through the maps was provided for visualization of the
main sites in each district.
The image
on the right was a reconstitution of a Parisian palace
in the 18th century, exactly as it was with the possibility
to interact and walk around this virtual space in real-time.
